I'm so f!cking angry being at work today. The owner of the bookshop is %!$##@+ who shouldn't be running a business and I'm the one who has to
constantly clean up after him. It's bullsh!t. There are no good shows coming to the area, so much that I'm considering snatching a few tix this
Saturday for the July HWM show in NYC. What or where is Terminal 5? Billy? It's still in the #**++++ 30s! when I get up in the morning (granted upper 30s ,
but 39 is still the 30s!) I hate Michigan weather, all of my plants were killed last week when we dipped below 32. Which means my smokables! Can you imagine,
frost in May. It's cruel to live like this. I'm finishing my Rescue Diver course this weekend and am looking forward to the 45 degree water only
because diving beats work.

We got 6 inches of snow in May a couple years ago.
Sorry to hear about your plants. Same thing happened to me that year. I just bought tickets for Alkaline Trio because American Steel is opening, but you're right, there isn't #!+$ for shows lately. |

man weather sucks here too,. i went to a bar the other night i had to bring a hockey sweater with me. it must have been in the mid 50's burrr! two weeks
ago it fuggin hot. last weekend was perfect. and now its been windy and drizzling..
and dont feel bad.. pete there are no shows here either, i could go to local shows.. but then i just wind up gettting drunk and not paying attention. even tho the Mighty Megadeth is coming here in a couple of weeks their set will be hampered by the fact that Children of Bodom and In Flames will get a nice share of stage time. so i wont go. was think of going to see the Dresden Dolls.. but there will be way to many gay dudes and ill most likley be by myself. so it looks like im waiting til July 20th for Chuck Ragan. plus on top of everything else.. beer prices have gone up. AAHHHHHH!!! paying high prices for gas is understandble... but higher beer prices... the economy is tanking. |

Dudes, America is finished.
High gas, high beer, no shows coming up. Man... it's all over. Joe, if you're into stuff as faggy as the Dresden Dolls you should go check out Devon Williams at the Casbah on I think the 18th. He used to play in Osker(which ruled) and now he does acoustic stuff. I'm still in Jersey so I can't think of anything else that's going down in SD right now. I'm pretty sure there's some good stuff coming up though. |

There's no good music down here. Not that I'm too active in hunting it out. All my favorite bands play two months of the year or just do random
reunion shows. In june a great band is playing not too far away in a barn in nowhere Alabama. It's always great to get drunk in a barn and flail around
to some punk country music. I'm just waiting for the Tim Barry and Chuck dates to come out, then I'll be satisfied. I'll keep my mouth shut about
the weather.
I have a really hard time getting into new music. I don't like the hardcore sound just because it's hardcore. It has to be a landmark band for me to really enjoy it, or some band that I'm just completely nuts about. It's true, the price of drinking and driving has never been higher. What kind of a free country is this? |

I mean, they're good... but they're definitely some borderline homo $#@!.
I don't know. I just hate caberet and all that comes with it. Not even a Black Flag cover was enough for them to win me over. |

well the caberet thing goes by me.. i dont care for the make up or the dress either. i just think the musics good. when i 1st saw them they did an awesome
cover of war pigs.. anyways why are talking about this. shouldnt we be talking about how much it must suck to live in Michigan.

My uncle who lives in Michigan is fairly bummed on the state of the economy out there right now.
He's a painter and actually just came out to Jersey for a couple weeks to pick up some work. I'd like to be getting horribly smashed right now in flip flops. Why isn't that happening? Where did I go wrong? |
