I liked it, but thought there was too much montage of stills and not enough live action. But I guess billy wasn't there to video all of the shows!

i loved the part where the show the guy in the corwd ****%+# with hank rollins and at 1st henrys got this smile.. and then the line was crossed and he starts
pummeling him.. awesome.
i just loved how it was really about the old school.. the punk that i 1st heard.. and not the sex pistols or ****%+# X or blondie.. everytime i watch stuff on "punk" its just bypasses the whole hardcore scene.. %%!$ sonic youth.. wheres the doa! they even had brandon cruz in there from Dr Know and Battalion of Saints.. DI.. i things i got into when i was discovering punk rock.. TSOL.. |

i got mixed fellings, its based off a book by a %!*+!#%##..so it keeps that slant of hardcore died in 86. it also acts like ny didnt exist in hc before vivtim
in pain came out...uh hello urban waste, the mob..etc etc. and my last gripe isnt really there fault, due to legal reasons they had to omit some of the biggest
bands, the misfits, dead kennedys, soicial distortion..but overall I found it enjoyable. I also love the nyhc dvd it just came out on dvd, it is diff in the
sense that it just covers a small portion if time ( early 90's) and not nyhc as a whole, people from this area will dig it fir no other reason than the LOL
factor

my friend asked why they didnt bring up the fits of DK.. usually jello is down to talk.. but ive read where jello was tired of the violence and stuff. and i just figured the misfits werent a typical hardcore band. plus there was no mention of Reagan Youth.. i know they didnt reinvent the wheel or anything but they are great.. |

Reagan Youth Ho! Ho! Ho! | ||

I'm sure their first ep was 82 and the full length was 83. They were (sadly) gone by 86

reagan youth ruled it's pissing me off that theres a scab reagan youth around playing shows...shits just disrepectful..thats like trying to have a new guy
singing and bringing warzone back..sometimes trying to cash in isnt worth it..I will never ever see the new reagan youth

yeah i just read about them play at a fest in Chicago and then i investigated further..i mean the singer is dead and he had a sad end at that.. i think they
should just leave it be. but anyone can be swayed by the almighty dollar.. look at jerry only... took a great thing.. kinda made it a cool thing.. then got
rid of graves and now tries to sell everything under the sun with the misfits name on it. jerry only.. the gene simmons of punk rock.. nice guy tho..
