538 johnson is doing shows again...pressure and colin of arabia played there tonight..see how long it last this time, same building diff apartment my guess is
its not gonna last long cause unlike before they arent gonna let you bring in booze which means kids will drink outside and cops will shut *$*@ down quick.
superbowl was fun, if you went in like I did and timed it so you didnt have to be stuck in there any longer than you had too...these big crowded shows are
getting to be too much for me because im a old codger. some good shows coming up in the next month around the area

Yeah the no re-entry thing alone is enough to get me to stay home from most shows. Especially !%*@ like the SB where it's a 72 hour parade of bands
I've never heard of waiting for Breakdown to play. hah.

the only other nyhc band I was really into was Token Entry but I never put them in the same category as cro-mags, warzone etc. All those thick-neck bands
were for me, were just dumb-guy hardcore.
There were so many great NY punk bands around at the same time. . .Absolution, Radicts, Public Nuisance, Rezistors. . .all that spikey-haired sh!t was what I was into . . .not that anyone asked! |
