1st.. BR...
ive decided to go see BR at some point this weekend.. its been nearly 6 years and i need to do some oozin ahhs. the thing is they are doing 3 nights.. fri/sat/sun... sunday is right out.. so i have a choice of friday and saturday... friday Ignite is opening.. i would like to see Ignite.. but i dont wanna wait for bad religion and spend $20 on a couple of drinks. plus wife is going out dancing with her friends leaving leaving the spawn with G-ma for the night.. Saturday is BR with the Briggs and this noght i cold go get relly drunk and have a great time. im leaning on SAT. 2nd HWM so ive thought about this show and the fact that im supposed to see Opeth the night before in LA is a drag.. but the tix havent been bought.. and i the more i think about it the more i dont want to see Opeth surrounded by a bunch of gey Dream Theater fans.. plus i listened to No Division this moring whilst at the gym and i was really sold on the idea. 9 great songs with Dream Theater fans or 20+ great songs without Dream Theater fans.. so BR on saturday.. and HWM in may.. at a casino.. mmm buffet.. |

stupid me.. i shouldve known that friday and sat would be sold out by now.. so im going on sunday.. who cares if im hungover.. i just sit here anyways.. my
only prob is getting my buddy Mac back to clairmont and me back home.... i may not be as drunk as i wanna be.. i need Christine to move down here and drive my
drunk ass around.
oh and HWM is in my holy square.... buffet.. mmmmm.... |

Megadeth.. the band that started it all..
AVAIL - no words needed Opeth - goddamn. new record june 2nd, Watershed.. will i be able to resist downloading it when it leaks.. the heavens say no. HWM - bought caution then No Division.. then Flight, then i saw em live and i bought Neverender.. then there was the purchase of Fuel for the Hate Game.. then i realzed the full genius of these guys.. these four band will never change.. i would say the clash is number five.. but really dont care for most of Sandinista and Combat Rock.. speaking of the clash.. there is supposed to be a 90minute doc. on PBS tonight on them.. 9:30 for me.. |

Very nice... you know I've never listened to any megadeth. Evil Empire by Rage against the machine was the band that really got me started into heavier
music.

Don't know if it's too late, but go see Bad Religion. I LOVE this band more than anything (Except probably Avail), and their most r3cent tour has bene
the best they've been live in years. Brooks is a SICK drummer and they really bust out a couple of surprises int he set.
I would go see HWM also if you can. I heard good things about the shows they've done so far. |
