i like em eall..I like companionship alot just cause thats the record my friend mike was in the band when they recorded..its a great album too of course but I love mike D so I have a special affection for that record. speaking of him...like 3 or 4 months ago he sent me a mp3 of the last song kyi ever will release, its a cover of token entrys "the edge" %@%+ rules, Its coming out " I think" with the book thats being written about them ( again not sure about that...

I think... THINK... that from companionship to competition is my favorite out of the three I have, this is just the beginning, Kill Your Idols and from companionship to competition. I get payed Friday, so something started here will be on its way shortly, unless I find it in the dumpster I'll be eating out of till Friday.

i dig it.. i hadnt listened to it a lot.. i had to get my Iron Maiden on for about a week.... but its cool stuff. i really love the jawbreaker cover. its just in your face striaght up hard core.. ihavent had the chance to sit and read the lyrics.. but i enjoy it and i will buy more.

The Capital videos are pretty sweet. I'm just waiting on them to tour sometime, or maybe I'll have to travel up to see them sometime this summer.

the advent you will never find, maybe youll get lucky and find it in soulseek or something, My friend gene told me about it I didnt even know about it. later on when I get time ill upload some stuff and put a link on here. Serpico were really good, prob the best staten island band ever. Silent majority were absolutely great if u like capital U will deff like them..

Hmmmm, sounds like a really good band. I'll have to dig around for some advent too. The song was great.

I'm loving KYI, the only thing I don't like is I can blow through three of their CD's in about an hour. While it's good, I listen to all the KYI I have and I think, "#*#+, it's only 10 AM". And I've got about 7 more hours of work left. It's alright though, I'm okay.

Capital have a full length album ( homefront) and 1 ep ( signal corps) actually that might be a full length. so not that long but the singer Tommy Corrigan is pretty much a legendary figure in thelong island hardcore scene..he...

they have already played europe quite a few times..I know bands that have been around way longer than have never even been to the west coast let alone europe

They are playing with Legion, Demur, and Damaged. Demur is a local Birmingham band and the only other one I know. They're pretty good but just starting out. That's a lot of time in a van.

Just wondering what you guys thought the best album by KYI is/was. I only have three right now, from companionship to competition, Kill Your Idols, and This is Just the Beginning. I'm just getting into them now, right at the time when they break up. How unfortunate, but it always seems to go that way for me. I don't get too much of a hardcore scene in Auburn Alabama.
